We Made it to Romania!!!

Yay!! We made it! Disclaimer: if this post doesn’t seem coherent, that’s because I haven’t slept in over 24 hours, because everyone insists that we must stay up until at least 8:00 tonight. That being said, I just wanted to update you, our supporters, that we have indeed arrived in Romania with all our luggage. Here is a lovely timetable of events that Thomas created:

It begins with the commissioning at BRBC and shows exactly what we have done since that time.

May 15:

0930: Early service commissioning.

1100: Late service commissioning.

1130: Left for airport.

1200: Arrived at airport.

1500: Departure from airport.

May 16:

0500 (Germany time): Arrived in Germany.

0700: Departed Frankfurt airport.

0830: Arrived in Budapest.

0915: Left airport with Lori.

1400 (Romania time): Arrived at Adi and Lavinia’s house.

1400-now: Eating a delicious meal with Adi and Lavi, going grocery shopping, touring Oradea, and being told multiple times that we CANNOT go to sleep yet. On the plus side, I got to eat some delicious Aloe Vera gelato, and watch Adi open box after box of donated reading glasses. All in all, it’s been a good day.

Now I must fight through this exhausted delirium for one more hour, and then I can finally go to sleep.

Thank you for praying for us!

Abby Stocker

  1. Thanks for the update. We pray for good sleep, good health, and good communication. May God bless and protect you as you minister in the schools.

  2. Delighted you are there, and your pictures don’t look jet-lagged at all. Praying for good and solid rest for you all and that you will recover quickly to Romanian time.
